Masks Still Required in the Studio

To our valued Meridian community,

As announced in today's BC Public Health update, the order for mandatory mask wearing in public spaces is being removed as of tomorrow. Covid has thankfully abated, but is not over, and as our society opens up I wish to continue to provide a safe space for vulnerable members of our Meridian community and their families.

The immediacy of this announcement feels fast for us and we are not ready yet to drop the mask requirement, thus will be taking a gradual approach over the next few weeks. We will continue requiring masks to be worn in the studio for at least the next two weeks. This requirement will be revisited as it becomes possible to assess any repercussions of the removal of the mandate in the wider community. It is my sincere hope that we will move to a mask-recommended position in the near future.
