Mat 3 Module: Enhanced Mat and Props
We are so pleased to offer our NEW Balanced Body Mat 3 module this spring, at a reduced rate. It is our first time offering this amazing class here at Meridian Pilates, and we want to make it a little easier for past & present students to join us. Lauren Brandt and Heather Low will team-teach the material for this one course only; join us as we dive in!
Balanced Body Education has added this course as a requirement for any new student teachers beginning in 2019, and as a continuing education credit for any other Mat teachers. If you teach Mat programs, you will discover valuable techniques to enhance function and form with a dynamic, movement-based focus, using props (rings, rollers, bands and balls), within the classical Mat exercises. Enhanced Mat also includes functional exercises for the upper and lower body, adding to the capacity for whole body strength and flexibility in all of your Mat classes. The Balanced Body Programming System is introduced to make class design easy, effective and fun.
Prerequisite: Balanced Body Mat 1 & 2, or successful completion of comparable Mat program; please ask for details.
